How to: Type a text label in a slide.
Solution:
Click 'Text Tool' on the 'Drawing' toolbar, click where the text is to be, and type the text.
1) Display the 'Drawing' toolbar:
a) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Toolbars...'. (The 'Toolbars' dialog box appears.)
b) Select the 'Drawing' check box.
c) Click 'OK'. (The 'Drawing' toolbar appears.)
2) Click 'Text Tool' on the 'Drawing' toolbar.

3) Position the pointer where the text label is to be, and click once. (A blinking insertion point appears, surrounded by a selection box indicating edit mode for a text object.)

4) (Optional) Do one or more of the following to select the desired font and font attributes for the text label:
a) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Font...'. (The 'Font' dialog box appears.)
b) Select the desired font from the 'Font' list box.
c) Select the desired font size from the 'Size' box.
d) Select the desired style from the 'Font Style' list box.
e) Select the desired check boxes from the 'Effects' group.
f) Select the desired color for the text label from the 'Color' drop-down list box.
g) Click 'OK' to accept changes.
5) Type the desired text label in the text box.

6) Click outside the selection box to deselect the text label.
